To analyze a format and outlines were the main points of this part of sketches. At the stage of completion of this work I decided that point of view will be close to a shelf. Due to massive information volume on the bookshelf represent something more around would take a concentration away from the “hero of the work”.

Landscape format would represent a narrative to the drawing but portrait format could be seen as a statement, which I like.

With shadows and colour of books I thought to represent a kind of chessboard or heart beat line (last one I like better).

But while I’m writing this comment I'm researching artists who paint a domestic interior. So my straight point of view does not look so interesting anymore. Let’s see.
