This time I used colour pastel and paper size A3 as it was easier for me to build the tone using the colour. To be honest I’m not a big fun of this material because I can’t reach colour I want. For first “try” I paint with day light and second one with room lamps.

For me was difficult to have a concentration during this task, I believe, because of the material. Normally I would use oil for this. Here I clearly realised that the personality of an artist is reflected in the materials and methods he uses. For example, I would prefer to work with emotional, big, juicy, hard, volume materials.

I think an idea of tone was developed well, though for the next time I need to use more contrast light for such a task.
